Lilikoi Painting by Anna Good

Lilikoi by Anna Good

I have been drawing inspiration from the beauty of Wailea’s rich tropical gardens, pathways and koi ponds since I moved to South Maui three years ago.  During that time I have completed a number of paintings depicting Wailea tropical gardens. This, however is my first serious collection of work dedicated to the beauty of Wailea and its gardens. The collection consists of 17 pieces covering a spectrum of sizes.

Hilo Art MuseumAloha HawaiiArt.com,

I just wanted to introduce myself.  My name is Stephen Davey, and I’m the
Director of the Hilo Art Museum.  We have some great pieces done by some
famous artists, but we don’t have enough art done by Hawaiians.  I was
wondering if some of the artists you’re involved with may like to submit
their work for possible inclusion in our permanent collection.
Also, in case anyone is interested in seeing a really beautiful display, we
have the Italian artist Mirkò coming in at the end of February to hold an
exhibition at the Hilo Palace Theater.  The collection is dedicated to
Hawaii, its people and its customs.  It’s sure to be a great event.  More
info about that is available on our site.  But back to my initial point.
Please pass the invitation along to your artists for submitting their work,
and thank you for your time.
