I know all you Mac lovers out there like Safari but some of our artists report that it does not work well with the HawaiiArt.com artist control panel. We are testing on Safari machines but if you have not made the change to Firefox maybe now is the time. Either that, or just send us your images, prices, and descriptions and we will do the work for you. Report any Mac problem you are having below.

Yes, I seem to be having a problem with HawaiiArt,com control panel and my Safari. I log on, the page comes up, and then, blank. Safari shuts down, everything disappears. I started over three time and the same. Sorry I didn’t get to you yesterday.

This just came from our developer…..
Hello Glen,
Today I searched for similar problems in Safari forums. I realized that there are also users who experience the same problem on login forms of different sites including Yahoo Mail. Here (http://forums.omnigroup.com/showthread.php?t=2111) is a guy says that reinstall of MacOS fixed that problem , but I am not sure we can ask users to do that.
Please post any other Mac problems below. This is one of those awful computer things that makes using the internet so lame. Of course you could always try Firefox?
THIS MAY FIX YOUR UPLOAD PROBLEM – The problem is (hold on to your seats) not putting the www. in the address bar for the control panel. Essentially people who login to hawaiiart.com/member instead of http://www.hawaiiart.com/member would only see the site processing… but not showing the image. How silly is that?!
I loaded some more pieces onto the website, and noticed that the control panel did not work in Safari ( my Macintosh browser) and by using Firefox for a browser, everything worked fine. Just wanted to let you know since other ” apple people” might have the same problem.
I just did some more testing on the new Safari Browser for windows and everything seems to be working great. I did not know if this is the same case on an Apple running Safari so if there are any problems uploading or changing images on your artwork please let me know.
Glen, You know we talked about this, I don’t even use safari, too slow and too many problems. All you Mac users step up and try Firefox by Mozilla. It’s way faster; better features; more flexible and customizable, and I will not look back. Another free browser is Opera browser for mac. I find these too work more transparent than Safari in this unfortunate lopsided PC -World…
Hope this FYI… is Helpful. All I can say is “Viva la Difference!”
