I TOO HAVE A MOST PRISED POSESSION – ONE OF RUSS’S SMALL BIRDS – A JUNCO. MY HUSBAND BOUGHT IT FOR ME ONE VALENTINE’S DAY. EACH TIME I LOOK AT IT I AM REMINDED OF OUR WONDERFUL HOLIDAYS IN POIPU AREA WHEN WE WOULD OFTEN SEEING RUSS WORKING IN THE EVENING AT OCEAN FRONT WITH AN UNFINISHED BIRD IN HIS HAND. IT IS NICE TO KNOW HE IS REMEMBERED AND HIS WORK HAS GIVEN SO MANY PEOPLE JOY.

I have a Stickney Hawaiian woman that I inherited from my Aunt who passed away in the 80’s.
She only purchased art that she considered an investment
And told me the piece was quite valuable, other than that I know very little. If you come up with any info, please let me know.

2. What were you looking for? Konane game.
3. Why did or didn’t you buy something? The board is the most attractive one that I could find on the Internet but it is a bit expensive. A 5% discount might tip the balance.

Hi my name is Robin and I am an artist living on Kauai. I came across your blog. I use to sell art at the old Waiohai and the art gallery was called ” A thing of beauty”. We had an artist named Russ Graff and he made birds of different woods. Russ has sents passed on. But I believe they still have some of his pieces at Kiaohana. The gallery owner name is Lynn.
